Hello my Friend,
Bridge is the most ethical brain sport and by the special meaning of its name, it is also a bridge between people and different cultures. We may consider bridge as a whole different world because it has is own language, rules and values.
At the bridge table all languages are meaningless. There is no sense of "me" at the table, there is "us".
Bridge is a whole different world because it teaches us to think about "us" instead of shallow "me", because it teaches us to protect our values, because it teaches us to trust our partner, because it teaches us to say "nice try partner" after a loss, because it teaches us to respect others even if we dont like them and because teaches us whole bunch of other things that make us human.
We now have the opportunity to play our beloved game in the comfort of our houses. In that virtual world we have nicks to represent us. I personally dont believe in the obscurity of virtual world. Becaue I own that nick and that nick represents me, my values etc. And that nick also is a tool to help me make friends from all over the world.
Unfortunately there are some people appeared in our BBO lately, who are counting on the fact that they are unreacheble and undefinable in that virtual area. Most of us have to deal with those antisocial, unrespectful "nicks" while playing our game. We want to enjoy the game while making new friends, we want to enjoy while we are learning from eachother and most important of all, we want to enjoy while playing. And that is the main reason to start our group:
WORLD BRIDGE FRIENDS
Dear friend, if you think the same way, at least if you want to enjoy bridge in peace like us, please join us and put a brick to our new friendship wall. With the help of you my dear friend, we are going to grow and accomplish a lot in virtual and in real world.
